Located at 901 South St, Philadelphia, PA 19147, Puglia Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Puglia Pizza at (215) 449-0100; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is pugliapizza.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 458 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

In town for the day, wanted to try a true cheesesteak - the internet suggested a place down the street - b4 it opened there was already a big line. Found Puglia Pizza and went in. Small but great space. Very clean, smelt great. The staff couldn’t of been more pleasant/helpful. The sandwich was outstanding - I can’t believe any other place could improve on it. The Internet doesn’t know everything - definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hands down the best pizza in all of Philadelphia. As a native New Yorker who moved here it has been a struggle to find the perfect slice with fresh ingredients and a solid undercarriage. Puglia does not disappoint- and they’re one of the few places that sell slices, which just means you can try multiple toppings. This is a family run shop and that’s evident with the warm welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 my recommendation to anyone visiting or for locals.

We went on a date night on a Wednesday evening. Parking was easy right across the atreet. I used the Philadelphia's parking app to pay for parking. We were welcomed by the owners and staff with kindness and open arms like we were family. We ordered fountain drinks and a few slices of their pizza and they were fantastic. Then we got their homemade focaccia bread with mortadella, stracciatella, arrugula and olive oil. So good. We also got to see the full sized mural being painted by their mural artist. It looks amazing. Friendly staff and plenty of seating.

We were headed to the famed Angelo's down the street and we passed this place. As we approached the Instagram viral spot, the crowd of 20-30 something year olds made us pivot on the spot (no shade, we just couldn't handle the viral content grab. We just wanted a sandwich). We thought "that place we just passed looked great." AND BOY OH BOY WAS IT. Beyond the fact that we were greeted with all smiles, clean tables and no lines, the food was fab. We grabbed two slices and a Godfather Cheesesteak to split. The pizza crust was thin and crispy and the topping were so fresh! Eggplant, ricotta, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. The Godfather Cheesesteak (on the recommended seeded bread) was flavorful and spicy with that cheesesteak creaminess we were after. The bread was light which made room for all the fillings and made it easy to eat...not falling out of the bread and all over us! Adding this place to my favorites list.

Service was quick and very friendly. The food was outstanding!! Clearly a neighborhood favorite because the place was packed. The cheesesteak was served on a delicious sesame roll with tons of meat. My friend had a triple Smashburger, which he loved. My other friend had the pizza which he also really enjoyed. Than you chef and Heather!!!
